Accupos POS System - ION-TP2.
Complete system for retail or restuarnt. Everyting you need for employees to operate pioint-of-sale system: 15" touchscreen, card reader, bar code scanner, scale.  Accupos integrates with accounting software, such as QuickBooks, and has an employee time clock, so you can manage payroll taxes yourself without having to hire an accountant; keps track of invenbtory, easy sales reports, very easy to customize sales buttons and prices

No monthly fee necessary to operate system. You can use whichever card processing company you want. ACCUPOS charges a yearly fee for technical support, but I never needed any support. Once it was set up and could read credit cards, was easy-peasy, no problems. Used in a ice cream/candy store. Comes with a copy of Quickbooks so you can manage payroll yourself and keep track of inventory.
