    Description

    Very firey (see below) opalescent art glass perfume atomizer, or scent bottle. Handmade and mouth blown. Nicely polished pontil (base). The fitting is gold plated brass. I believe it is Sabino from France, circa 1930's. Approx. 3" w x 4" h plus apparatus. Will need new bulb if it will be used. No chips or flea bites.     Great information gleaned from the internet:
    Sabino experimented with glass and by 1925 he had created his own chemical formula for opalescent glass. The result is that in low light the glass often appears white or bluish like ice in a glacier, but with brighter or more direct light, many of the pieces turn a subtle golden color. As if by magic.
