Description

This is our own brand of pressure blasting equipment.
Our standard cabinet size is 60 inches wide by 60 inches deep and 48 inches high.
Other cabinet sizes may be substituted with this offering. Ask seller for other sizes and availability.
This unit is made to order and requires 4 to 6 weeks to delivery  as of October, 19, 2019.
The cabinet is pictured here with a 45" diameter turn table and track system, rated at 2,500 pounds. The track lifts up and out of the way to allow the door to close. The table has safety stops to prevent the table from being pulled out when the track is retracted. Allows for overhead crane loading and unloading of the table. Also easily removed from the front of the machine via forklift positioned under the platform.
If you require something special, we can custom manufacture a cabinet specific to your requirements. The reclaimer and dust collector are included for a total of three pieces that form one complete blasting unit. This cabinet has one door located as pictured on the right hand side and high output lighting, which is standard. We manufacture one of the most productive blasting cabinets in the industry. We only offer pressure pot style cabinet blasters because this type of equipment is up to 5 times faster than a siphon blaster. Siphon style cabinets may be much cheaper to start with but they are not practical for production blasting applications. They are extremely slow and inefficient compared to a pressure pot blasting cabinet. In the long run the incremental difference in price between a siphon and pressure cabinet are easily recovered within the first year via increased productivity and substantially lower labor costs.
Our cabinets are constructed completely out of  10 gauge (1/8 inch thick) temper pass steel plate and are reinforced with a 1/4" thick angle frame work around door and window openings.  Most manufacturers like Scat blast, Tip, Zero, Trinco, Empire, Pangborn, Econoline, Blast It All and various other foreign cabinets are made using much thinner gauge steel or plastic and will not last as long as our heavy duty units. Our cabinet alone weighs in at 2,250 pounds. Do some homework and ask some basic questions before you purchase a tin can from somebody else.  We will be happy to provide references from recent customers upon request. Apples to apples you will get more for your money when you purchase your next production pressure blasting cabinet from us.  Below is a list of included features:
2,500 pound 48" x 1/2 thick turn table and "v" groove track, with safety stops
One door on right or left side (available two door pass thru track system for an additional charge)

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PRESSURE CABINET AND A SIPHON CABINET ?
A PRESSURE POT IS 5 TIMES FASTER THAN A SIPHON GUN GIVEN THE SAME AIR SUPPLY
That is why most siphon style cabinets and free standing siphon guns are all but useless for anything short of touch up work. For production stripping, derusting, and other metal finishing applications a siphon cabinet is too inefficient to be economical. Unfortunately, the cheaper up front investment leads many business into selecting a unit that will cost more in lost productivity then the initial investment within the first year. Because they look similar you could be fooled in to believing that there is basically no difference between a siphon or pressure style cabinet blaster. But the real difference is only revealed when the blasting begins and its all over but the red ink at that point.
The fact is that the most efficient siphon cabinet blaster is 4 times slower than a pressure pot cabinet system given the same air supply. All things being equal, a slightly cheaper siphon cabinet will cost your company thousands more in lost productivity in the event you actually have to use it. A siphon blaster will waste 4 out of every 5 hours because you have invested in an "ax" instead of a "chain saw".
The above offering is for a new 60 x 60 x 48 pressure cabinet with an automatic media reclamation system. It is constructed completely out of 10 gauge hot roll steel for ultra durability and is up to three times thicker than the tin some manufacturers are using and referring to as "heavy gauge" without any specifics. Do some homework and you will find that we are building one of the thickest cabinets out there. The cabinet alone uses over 1,200 pounds of hot roll steel plate and 1/4 thick angle decking and reinforcement around doors, top and front for extended life and durability. You will not find a better, stronger built cabinet than this model.
This unit is equipped with our VFD electrical package that includes the following:
Soft motor starting:
The amperage draw will not exceed the motor name plate rated amperes at any time. This reduces the initial cost of copper wiring because it is no longer necessary to consider the initial startiup load. The initial start-up requirements may exceed 5 times the rated name plate amperes when hard starting a variable torque application like high speed impellers. This requires over-sizing of electrical wiring, fuses and breakers to prevent motor starvation and premature failure of electrical components on start-up.
On-Off Switch:
Conveniently located on the dust collector, this is a simple 24 volt relay loop that engages the variable frequency drive with the push of a button. After the start command is triggered the motor will ramp to maximum velocity over ~ 20 seconds. When the stop command is received the unit will again decelerate over ~ 90 seconds and come to a complete stop.
Thermal Motor Protection:
The motor drive will constantly monitor the motor and the drive itself for any unusual spike in temperature throughout. If the temperature rises above acceptable parameters the drive will default and shutdown before any damage to the unit is sustained.
Motor Fault and Report Monitoring:
The motor drive is capable of displaying motor torque, hours of operation, actual amperage draw, percentage of motor capacity used, percentage of drive capacity used, the motor frequency in hertz, delivered line voltage and several other programmable LED display readouts. Factory settings are always in hertz frequency unless specified otherwise.
Automatic Load Compensation Controls:
The motor drive is programmed to compensate for changing load conditions. These conditions include but are not limited to extended length or reduced diameter of piping, blast gates and other restrictions in the air lines, atmospheric humidity, temperature and altitude adjustments, filter cartridge dust cake levels, and power supply brownout or over current conditions.  With our VFD electrical package these conditions are corrected automatically through direct motor communication with the drive system. As a result, if the cfm should fall below rated levels, the motor drive will increase the motor speed to correct for this condition. The speed of the motor will continue to increase until 150% of the rated water column vacuum is achieved to restore air flow and maintain 100% load on the motor. The LED display will show this reading in real time with .1 hertz accuracy. This reading can also be used as a baseline to determine the most effective time to pulse the filters.  We highly recommend the use of this system when possible. This can only be used when unit is placed inside as the controller has a Nema 1 electrical rating.
Our VFD electrical package is included with this unit. Contact us with any questions you may have about your specific application.
Our equipment comes with a 1 year warranty against defect in workmanship or materials. We also offer an 85% return of the purchase price, excluding freight,  for the return of the system within 60 days after receipt of delivery if this unit fails to perform as described above.
